I'm James Singleton, and this is my blog.

I'm a software developer, author, engineer and entrepreneur. My formal training is in electrical and electronic engineering (in which I hold a first class degree), yet I've worked professionally in software development for almost a decade. I'm currently working on my own ventures; take a look at the projects page for more info. I'm also available for hire.

I'm the author of ASP.NET Core 2 High Performance and I'm active in the London startup and open source communities. I help organise Cleanweb London events and I give talks, such as this one at Hacker News London.

On this site you will find write-ups of projects I've made, both hardware and software. Thoughts on coding and development practices. Tips on how to make technology work better, travel, visiting geeky stuff and lots more.

Feel free to leave comments on Hacker News, contact me or reach out on GitHub and Twitter.
