As part of my recent book, I started a documentation project to provide a support matrix of what .NET libraries and frameworks currently work with .NET Core and ASP.NET Core (the new open source and cross-platform frameworks from Microsoft).
It was originally a list of the NuGet packages that I referenced in the book, as dead trees are a bad place to put information that changes rapidly. It has since grown much bigger and is still growing.
It's a bit of a strange project, as it aims to become unnecessary and cease to exist. Hopefully at some point, all libraries and frameworks will support .NET Core, and it will no longer be required.
It currently has over 100 projects listed, in the following categories:
- Feature Switching
- O/RMs / DBs
- Background Tasks
- Image Manipulation
- Message Queuing
- Windows Services
- DI / IoC Containers
